Actually Bloody Do Something!
We seem to be getting more and more 'campaigns' on social media sites that follow this format:
"Change your Facebook profile picture to a cartoon character from your childhood and invite your friends to do the same, for the NSPCC. Until Monday (December 6th), there should be no human faces on Facebook, but an invasion of memories. This is a campaign to stop violence against children."
Now you may call me an old cynic, but this seems like a way of being seen to do something without actually doing anything. "I'm showing my support" people will say. Well in the case above, why not actually go to the NSPCC site and give them some money. That would show them a whole lot more support.
That is my 'rant' for the day.
